Textures & backgrounds

Grid, radar, ghost tracks. Nothing else.

  • Grid overlay. Marketing heroes and high-emphasis surfaces carry a subtle 1px grid at ~3% opacity in fog-100, on a navy-900 substrate. Grid cell size ~60px. The grid fades toward the edges with a radial mask so it never competes with content. This is the signature marketing background - it reads as “graph paper for operations.”
  • Ambient radar. On product surfaces (grdwt.ch hero, GHOST GRID splash), concentric range rings in --steel-500 @ 20% with a slow-rotating sweep in --electric-500 @ 25%, trailing into a --glow-lg bloom. Used as ambient texture, never as a functional element outside real radar views.
  • Tactical ghost markers. On GRIDWATCH surfaces, stray APP-6D markers with mono-numeric track IDs (UNK-003, TRK-117) placed sparsely on the canvas at ~15% opacity - they read as “something else is happening at the edge of the scope.”
  • Corporate surfaces: grid overlay allowed, radar not. Product surfaces: both allowed.
